In Episode 4 we welcome Norm Conard and Megan Felt of the Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes. They shared their Life in a Jar story, which was featured in a book by Jack Mayer and in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. 

Norm and Megan also shared how other classrooms can start their own unsung hero project using the free lessons at their website or enter in one of their student competitions with the Art Effect Project or Discovery Award.

In Episode 2, Sean Bellamy from Sands School Ashburton shares his passion for elevating student voice through democratic education.  Sean's overall goal is get his students to think, so they can understand themselves and be creative, empathic and critical. 

Sean and his students have been featured in TEDxTalks where he expands on his concept of nurtured risk and how inviting students to be co-creators in their education helps them be better informed and capable citizens.

In this episode, we welcome Ada McKim a world issues and law teacher in New Brunswick, Canada and co-founder of the Teach SDG's movement. 

Ada shares her passion for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and provides teacher resources such as the World's Largest Lesson and the Teach SDGs Toolkit, both of which provide K12 resources.

Ada also shares a favorite teen magazine from the United Kingdom called Teen Breathe which provides inspirational stories that could easily align to the SDGs for young people.
